The back of your blouse is just as important as the front. From deep-cut keyholes to heavy embroidery, I design patterns that complete your bridal look.

A stunning view of a bride's back, showcasing both her intricate hairstyle and our custom blouse. The blouse features a deep back with detailed embroidery along the borders, designed to be seen and admired.

This image highlights a beautiful keyhole back design on a bright pink blouse. The embroidery follows the cut of the neckline, and the fishtail braid hairstyle allows the blouse detail to be the star.

This is a perfect example of how a blouse back can complete a bridal look. The peacock embroidery is stunning, and the design works in harmony with the bride's traditional floral hair accessories.

In this video, you can see the beautiful back design of the royal blue lehenga blouse. It features a deep cut with intricate embroidery and a delicate tie-up with tassels, adding a touch of allure.

About this collection

When I work on a blouse back, I’m thinking about how it sits against your braid or jewelry. Whether it's a deep-cut keyhole for a modern look or a heavy traditional Aari border, I make sure the structural canvas lining supports the weight so it sits perfectly flat on your skin, even with hours of dancing.

The back of your blouse is a canvas for storytelling. In my 25 years of designing for happy costumers, I have learned that the back design needs to balance beauty with structural integrity. If you want a heavy maggam work blouse with intricate peacock or palanquin motifs, we use double lining and canvas reinforcement. This ensures that the heavy embroidery doesn't pull the fabric down or irritate your skin while you are wearing it for your wedding ceremony or reception.

Designing Your Perfect Back and Sleeves

When we plan your blouse, we look at everything from the neckline to the latkans (tassels).

  • Necklines: Whether you prefer a deep U, V, or a classic Pot-neck, the shape is chosen to complement your saree drape and hair accessories.
  • Sleeve Detailing: I focus on elbow-length or short sleeves featuring dense filler work. We use techniques like French knots, Zardozi, and stone chain work to make sure the sleeves are as detailed as the rest of the outfit.
  • Custom Latkans: A blouse back is incomplete without the right tassels. I craft these to match the embroidery on your blouse, tying the whole look together.

Whether you are coming to my Yelahanka studio or we are working together online, the process remains the same. You share your ideas, your color preferences, and the motifs you love. I sketch the design, and we refine it until it feels just right. Every stitch is placed with care because I know this outfit is a huge part of your big day.
