6000m and 7000m Himalayan Expeditions
From technical training to the final summit push, our expeditions to the Indian Himalayas are built on safety, patience, and team rhythm. We don't just chase peaks; we guide your journey through the high-altitude landscapes of Ladakh, Himachal, and beyond.
Climbers on the final summit ridge of Kang Yatse II (6,250m). This popular 6000m peak in Ladakh offers stunning views and is an excellent first step into high-altitude mountaineering.
About Indian Himalayas: Your 6000m & 7000m Ascent
We believe in being upfront: climbing 6000m plus peaks isn't just about fitness, it is about patience. You will be training for technical skills like rappelling and jumaring with us in the city before you ever touch a mountain. On the trail, we prioritize safety and acclimatization, which means if the mountain decides it is not time for you to summit, we listen. It is all part of the story.
Our approach is simple: respect the mountain, trust your team, and train hard. Whether you are aiming for your first 6000er like Yunam Peak in Lahaul or challenging yourself on a technical 7000m giant like Nun Kun, we handle the logistics so you can focus on the climb.
What to expect
- Technical Prep: Before we hit the high altitude, we run workshops in the city. You will get comfortable with jumaring, rappelling, and managing your gear, so there are no surprises at 5000m.
- The 6000m Tier: Peaks like Kang Yatse II and Friendship Peak are the perfect gateway. They are challenging but accessible, letting you experience high-altitude, cold-weather climbing without the technical complexities of an 8000m expedition.
- The 7000m Tier: For climbers who have already cut their teeth on 6000ers, we take on 7000m ascents. These require a different level of endurance, gear management, and reliance on your climbing partners.
The Reality Check
Weather in the Himalayas is the final boss. We build in buffer days for acclimatization because rushing is the fastest way to fail. We keep our guide ratio close to 1:4, ensuring you are never just a number in a group. Sometimes that means you might have to turn back from a summit push. We will be honest about that, too. We are here to help you get stronger, safer, and ready for the next peak.
