Epic Ladakh Expeditions: Conquering the High Passes
We do not just ride, we go on life-changing journeys. Join our convoy from Bangalore to the top of the world.
A moment of pride and reflection at the Kargil War Memorial. Leading 14 of our riders on the Ladakh expedition was a special experience, and this picture, with the Indian flag flying high, is a favorite for all of us.
The tribe at the top of the world, Khardung La pass. At an altitude of 17,983 ft, we braved the snow and thin air together, creating memories that will last a lifetime. This is what adventure with BMR looks like.
About Epic Expeditions: The Ladakh Chapter
Riding to Ladakh is not just about the photo at the top. Our expeditions require serious preparation, from fuel mapping to mandatory altitude acclimatization. We run these as fully supported convoys with a backup truck for luggage, spares, and medical kits, so you can focus on the road instead of the mechanics.
The BMR Expedition Standard
We believe in 'Grasp life by the handlebars,' but we pair that spirit with rigorous planning. When we head out for a Ladakh motorcycle expedition, we handle the logistics so the brotherhood can focus on the ride.
Why ride with our convoy?
- Route Management: We handle day-wise itineraries, fuel mapping, and group accommodation bookings.
- Technical Support: Every expedition includes a backup vehicle for your luggage and spares, plus an accompanying mechanic who knows how to handle high-altitude fatigue.
- Safety First: We carry medical and oxygen kits for every rider. Our lead riders and sweepers manage the formation, ensuring no rider is left behind on difficult mountain terrain.
- The Gear: You get a technical tour jersey with your name and blood group, plus reflective convoy numbering for safety.
Preparing for the Altitude
Conquering passes like Khardung La at 17,983 ft requires more than just a bike. It takes mental grit and physical prep. Our community shares BMR Moto Tips on how to handle oxygen levels, gear maintenance for thin air, and how to stay warm. We have been there, done that, and we make sure our newer riders are prepped to face the challenges of the Himalayas without the stress.
Whether you are riding a Royal Enfield, KTM, or ADV, we treat the road as a shared space. If you want to experience the thrill of a massive motorcycle expedition with a group that has your back, we have a spot in the convoy for you.
