About Live Plant Vertical Gardens
Every living wall we build features a structural Mild Steel frame and an integrated, automated drip irrigation system that takes care of watering for you. Since these are real plants, we include a 30-day post-installation monitoring period to ensure your garden settles in correctly and any transplant shock is managed by our team.
Why invest in a living wall
Beyond the aesthetic appeal, a living wall actively improves your indoor environment. We use hardy, air-purifying species such as Pothos, Syngonium, and Philodendrons. A standard installation includes approximately 8 to 10 plants per square foot, creating a dense, natural barrier that can help absorb office noise and keep the space cool. These installations are designed to bring a breathing element into meeting rooms, lobbies, and reception areas.
Technical specifications
We prioritize wall integrity and long-term durability. We do not use direct-to-wall mounting that could lead to dampness. Instead, we fabricate a custom Mild Steel (MS) frame with an anti-rust coating, which is anchored to your wall.
- Modules: We use HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) black modules hooked securely onto the frame.
- Irrigation: We install an inline drip system connected to a digital water timer. You set the schedule, and the system handles the rest.
- Growing Medium: To reduce structural load, we use a lightweight, soilless potting mix consisting of cocopeat, perlite, and slow-release fertilizer.
The installation process
For larger corporate projects, our team brings in professional scaffolding to work safely at height. We handle the entire project lifecycle:
- Design & Layout: We assess your wall space and light conditions to determine the best layout.
- Framework Fabrication: The custom MS frame is built to measure and installed.
- Plumbing & Irrigation: We set up the drip lines and digital controllers.
- Planting: We install the pre-grown, healthy plants from our nursery.
- Monitoring: We provide 30 days of maintenance checks post-installation to ensure every plant takes root.
