About this collection
The climb starts in Pulna, where you cover 10 kilometers on a paved path to reach Ghangaria. It is a steady ascent, but the local vibe in Ghangaria—with the Gurudwara, food stalls, and other hikers—makes the effort feel like a shared community journey rather than a solo struggle.
Why the monsoon? This is the only window when the valley is truly alive. You aren't just hiking; you are walking through a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 500 species of alpine flowers, including the elusive Blue Poppy and the sacred Brahmakamal.
We split the experience into two stories: the vibrant, meadows-filled Valley of Flowers and the quiet, high-altitude energy of Hemkund Sahib at 14,200 feet. The Hemkund lake, surrounded by mist, is where most of our trekkers hit the reset button.
