About Competition Champions
Competition prep is not just about speed, it is about perfecting posture and safety. I focus on intensive 5-6 day weekly sessions that include outdoor road drills and technical slalom training, ensuring your child is competition-ready and injury-free.
Moving from hobby skating to competitive skating requires a different level of focus. In my advanced batches at the Laxmi Nagar and Pandav Nagar studios, we break down skating into a science. We move beyond simple balancing to master complex technical skills like slalom weaving, crossovers, and backward skating.
Competition prep is physically demanding. My students commit to 5-6 sessions per week, with a mix of indoor studio work for precision and outdoor park sessions for speed and stamina. I personally oversee form correction, ensuring their posture reduces drag and increases efficiency on the track. We do not just train for medals at the Rajiv Gandhi Skating Competition, we train for the discipline required to win.
If you are worried about safety, rest assured that even at the competitive level, I insist on full safety gear. We use floor markers and mirrors in the studio for granular technique checks, and then take those skills to the road for real-world conditioning. This is not just about winning, it is about watching my priya chhatrayein (beloved students) grow in confidence and skill. Ayushman bhava (may you live long).
