My Approach to Mandap Decor

I use high-quality, 6ft by 4ft custom arch panels in pastels—think soft pinks, creams, and sage greens—that provide a clean background for your idol. We skip the heavy, flashy elements and lean into texture. That means dense runners made of fresh tuberose and jasmine (mogra) that actually smell divine when you enter the room, not just plastic strings that gather dust.

Working in Mumbai means space is usually at a premium. Whether you have a dedicated puja room or a living room corner, I adapt. The setup includes:

• Structure: 6ft custom arch panels in wood or sunboard.
• Floral Styling: Heavy floral runners with mixed greens, roses, or orchids, combined with traditional mogra.
• Lighting: Warm LED focus lighting that highlights the idol, not the wall.
• Ritual Details: Laser-cut acrylic motifs like the Om or Swastika, plus petal-strewn platforms.
