Personal Aesthetic: Travel & Street Photography
my design style is born from the way i see the world. travel, street scenes, and moody lighting define my perspective and my work.
a lone figure on a boat surrounded by birds. i'm drawn to high-contrast, atmospheric scenes that tell a story with a single frame.
layers of mountains fading into the mist. this kind of natural gradient and depth is something i try to translate into my ui design for creating visual hierarchy.

a silhouette of a biker at the end of a dark tunnel. i love playing with light and shadow, a technique that is central to creating effective dark mode interfaces.
a foggy street scene at night in banaras. the mood and atmosphere in this shot are what i aim to capture in my more stylistic design projects.
a monk walking through a foggy landscape. this image captures a sense of minimalism and focus, two principles that are core to my design philosophy.
a boat on the ghats illuminated by red lights at night. the use of a single, bold color in a dark environment is a powerful tool for drawing user attention in ui design.
golden hour light hitting snow-capped peaks. capturing these moments of natural beauty inspires the color palettes and lighting effects i use in my work.
prayer flags against a snowy, misty mountain. the texture and contrast in this black and white photo influence my approach to creating visually engaging interfaces.
a chaotic flock of birds over the water. this black and white shot shows how you can find structure and beauty even in a busy scene, much like designing a complex but clean user interface.
About Personal Aesthetic: Travel & Street Photography
my design process mimics how i shoot street photography. i look for high contrast, deep shadows, and negative space to strip away everything except the essential user flow. when you hire me for an app, you are not just getting a mockup, you are getting an interface built with that same level of intentional focus, designed to handle real-world scale.
photography for me is not just a hobby. it is how i practice composition before i open figma. whether it is a foggy lane in banaras or a quiet mountain peak, i am constantly training my eye to prioritize what actually matters in a frame. i apply this exact logic to your product.
if you are building a mobile app or a landing page, you have probably got a lot of ideas cluttering the board. my job is to clear the fog. i focus on three things:
-
dark mode hierarchy: my street photography obsession with light and shadow directly informs my dark mode uis. i design interfaces where the content glows against a minimal background, keeping users focused on what they need to do.
-
technical feasibility: i am a full-stack engineer. i do not draw pretty pixels that break when a developer tries to code them. every component i design is built with react flexbox constraints in mind, so your handoff is painless.
-
conversational flows: much like street photography is about capturing the right moment, app design is about guiding the user through the right sequence. i build wireframes that make complex interactions feel like a natural conversation.
my goal is to turn your raw idea into something that feels as deliberate and moody as my gallery. if you want an app that feels less like a generic template and more like a real experience, let us talk.
