How Family Photography Works With Us
We don't run family photoshoots as a standalone service. Family group shots, extended family, siblings, grandparents, and pets are all included as part of our maternity and baby/child photography sessions at our HSR Layout studio.
- Expecting a baby? Our maternity packages welcome partners, siblings, grandparents, and pets in the frame, alongside the mom-to-be.
- Have a little one between newborn and toddler age? Our Classic baby tier includes parents in the shoot, and our Premium baby tier includes the extended family too.
So if you're looking for family portraits to mark a milestone like a pregnancy, a new baby, a first birthday, or a cake smash, you're in the right place. Pick the maternity or baby/child page based on what stage you're at, and the family bit is built in.
What That Looks Like
We've shot full family groupings (standing or sitting), parents holding or lifting the child, kids on parent's shoulders, family lying on the grass together, sibling portraits, and families with their dogs and cats. Festive and traditional shoots, Diwali, saree and kurta sets, coordinated outfits, are all part of what we do too.
Where We Shoot
Our HSR Layout studio has both indoor and outdoor setups on-site, so most "outdoor family" looks happen right at the studio. If you want a public park session, we can travel within about 5km of the studio for a travel cost at actuals. We don't do home shoots.
What You Get
Whichever shoot you book (maternity or baby/child), you receive all the raw photos from the session as soft copies, plus the edited ones. Gowns, makeup, and props are all in-house, so you don't need to coordinate anything external.

My Story
We’re Baby’s Backyard, and honestly, we’re a bit obsessed with capturing all that new baby magic. It’s not just photos for us - it’s about holding onto those wild, loud, love-filled moments before they slip away. First smiles, tiny toes, sleepy yawns... we started out wanting families to have these memories forever. Seeing folks grinning at their pictures? That’s the best part. It’s all a little crazy, a little loud, and a whole lot of love in one frame.

Photoshoots for Every Stage - We do maternity, newborn, baby, toddler, and cake smash sessions. Family group shots, extended family, and pets are part of these shoots, not a separate booking.
Creative & Fun Themes - Want a traditional South Indian baby shoot or something wild like mermaids or chefs? We love making your ideas real.
All Raw + Edited Photos - You get every raw shot from the session plus the edited final ones. No locked-away files, no upsells to see "the rest".
Everything In-House - Gowns, makeup (full-time MUA on staff), props, and our HSR Layout studio are all under one roof. You show up, we handle the rest.
Newborn-Safe Studio - Our setup is controlled and safe for newborns, and our team is patient with cranky toddlers who don't want to cooperate that day.
Indoor and Outdoor on One Site - Our studio has both indoor and outdoor setups, so you don't have to leave the venue for that natural-light feel. We can also travel within 5km for a park shoot, at extra travel cost. No home shoots.
