This is my open sketchbook where I experiment with new henna motifs and combinations. Here is a look at the different patterns I am currently loving.

A practice piece focusing on a mix of geometric and floral patterns. I love playing with different fillers, like the star-like pattern on the palm.

An intricate practice design on my own palm. This is how I try out new combinations of motifs, like these circular, mandala-style patterns.

A showcase of two different hands with complementary designs. This is a great reference for clients who want to see different styles side-by-side.

The start of a heavy bridal design. This shows how I build up the pattern, starting with a few key floral motifs on the arm.

About Design Library & Practice

Notice how I use negative space, or the empty skin between the bold floral vines and geometric cuffs, to make the pattern pop. This is a deliberate technique. It ensures the design does not look cluttered and gives the henna room to breathe, resulting in a cleaner, sharper look once the color darkens.

People often ask how to decide between different henna styles. This library is my sandbox where I test motif combinations. If you like the leafy trails from one practice piece and the mandala center from another, we can absolutely combine them for your event.

I focus on organic patterns, meaning I do not use stencils. Everything you see here is freehand, drawn with my homemade, chemical-free henna cones. Whether you are prepping for a sangeet in Frazer Town or need minimalist bridal mehendi, these patterns demonstrate the precision of my strokes.

The Design Library is a reference guide for your own customization. Look through the geometric fillers and the floral accents. If something catches your eye, let me know, and we can work it into your final design. This is where I ensure that the blend of Pakistani bold outlines and delicate Indo-Arabic fillers is balanced perfectly before it ever touches your skin.

Mehendi is a mix of tradition and art that I learned straight from my ammi. I love teaching the basics and seeing people smile, whether they are a bride or just looking for some floral joy.
