Art is a powerful way to connect people. Whether it is a corporate team-building session or a large-scale community festival, my workshops are designed to break down barriers, turning a blank canvas into a space for conversation, laughter, and shared creativity.

I was thrilled to bring a community art workshop to the Windmill Festival, the biggest festival for kids. We set up a large community canvas where children and families could come together to paint and create.

Here I am giving a live demonstration of acrylic painting on canvas at the Windmill Festival. I always start from the background and work my way forward, a key technique I share in my workshops to create depth and avoid smudging.

The community art wall at the Windmill Festival was a vibrant tapestry of creativity. It was wonderful to see families painting together, with parents and children proudly displaying their finished canvases.

The art workshop at the Windmill Festival 2024 was a huge success. My team and I were delighted to guide hundreds of participants through a joyful and creative experience over an amazing weekend.

I had the pleasure of conducting an art workshop for the Rotary Club of Bandra. In this session, I explained how varying the intensity of color can create the illusion of denser foliage and more layers in a painting.

A wonderful decoupage art workshop I curated for BNI Pinnacle. The participants had a fantastic time creating beautiful decorative pieces, bringing smiles and a dash of color to their day.

I conducted art demonstrations for Doms at the Paper World 2024 expo. It was a great opportunity to showcase the versatility of their art materials by creating various pieces, from floral paintings to traditional Warli art.

Our art workshop at the World of Education Expo 2023 was a full house. I guided school students and teachers in creating beautiful mandala art, providing a relaxing and immersive experience for everyone.

Art brings smiles to everyone's faces. At the Doms workshop, participants told me the experience was incredibly soothing and made them feel like kids again. It is wonderful to see art have such a positive impact.

I was delighted to conduct "Art with Doms" workshops at the World of Education Expo. Over 300 students, teachers, and parents participated, enjoying a fabulous session of artistic exploration with high-quality materials.

About Corporate & Community Events

When I lead a group of 300, it isn't just about paint, it is about structure. I break down complex techniques into simple, rhythmic steps so that a CEO at a BNI event or a child at the Windmill Festival feels equally capable. You are not just watching a demonstration; you are learning the foundation of color intensity and layering, ensuring that every participant, regardless of skill, leaves with a piece they are genuinely proud of.

Art has the unique ability to act as a bridge between people. Over the past 35 years, I have seen how a shared activity can transform a stiff corporate gathering or a crowded festival floor into a space of authentic human connection.

My approach to large-scale events is grounded in the same philosophy I use in my studio: art should be accessible, not intimidating. For corporate team-building activities, I design projects that encourage collaboration rather than competition. We focus on techniques like knife painting or large mural contributions where individuals contribute to a whole, mirroring the collaborative nature of a successful office team.

For community festivals and public events, such as my work with the Windmill Festival or the Rotary Club of Bandra, I shift the focus to individual expression. I guide participants through the process of building a painting from the background forward. This ensures that even someone who has never held a brush can achieve depth and texture in their work.

Why my workshops work:

  • Low Barrier to Entry: I strip away the complex jargon. Whether we are doing mandala art, acrylic on canvas, or decoupage, I ensure the steps are manageable within the timeframe.
  • Adaptability: I bring all materials—canvas, paints, brushes—and set up the logistics, whether we are in a banquet hall in Juhu or an open field in BKC.
  • Shared Joy: The goal is the process, not just the product. When people get their hands dirty with clay or explore color mixing, they relax. That is when the real bonding happens.

I am Hansa Sewani. For me, art is a language to connect people. Whether I am guiding a corporate team or a crowd at a festival, my goal is to strip away the intimidation of art and replace it with the pure joy of making something real with your hands.
