About Mermaids & Princesses
For these looks, I use specialized cosmetic-grade adhesive for all gems and pearls. It is gentle on sensitive skin but holds strong through hours of play. Whether your little one wants a delicate crown or a full mermaid tail, the materials I use ensure the glitter and stones stay in place and come off easily at bath time.
When I am painting princesses and mermaids, the most important part is the sparkle. I focus on creating a design that feels like a costume without the weight of one. For mermaid looks, I love using iridescent colors and chunky eco-glitter to mimic the shimmer of scales, often adding a dolphin or floral accent to frame the face. For princess themes, I use fine-line work to paint delicate tiaras that look like jewelry.
