About Effortless Half-Up Styles
These styles are all about the prep. Whether we go for a soft twist or a pearl-adorned bow, I prioritize volume at the crown to balance your face shape. It is perfect if you want to keep your hair open but need it to stay put while you move around during your event.
Half-up, half-down styles are the ultimate middle ground. You get the comfort of an updo—your hair stays away from your face—but the freedom of having your length open.
The Technical Side
To make these styles last through long events, I start with comprehensive texturizing. I use root-lifting techniques and professional dust to build a grip at the crown. If your hair is fine, we add clip-in extensions to ensure those curls look full and voluminous. The base needs to be secure so that whether you choose a twisted knot or a braided top, it won't slide or go flat by the time you hit the dance floor.
