About Homely Indian Meal Delivery
Why I Started Homely
Honestly, I was just tired of adulting. If you’ve ever called your mom for a dal recipe and still messed it up, you know what I mean. That feeling of craving 'ghar ka khana' (home-style food) - that’s what I want to deliver. No restaurant drama, no fancy stuff, just simple food with maa jaisa pyaar (mom-like love).
What Makes My Meals Different
- I keep it simple. No extra oil, no crazy spices. Just honest, fresh food.
- Every box is a mini trip down memory lane - good for beating those office blues or just chilling at home.
- The meals aren't perfect, sometimes the rotis aren’t round or the dal is a bit salty, but that’s real home food.
What’s Inside the Dabba
- Balanced thali - usually some sabzi/dal, rice or khichdi, and rotis/parathas.
- Curries range from classics like Masoor Dal, Bhindi ki Sabzi, Paneer curry, Egg Curry.
- Breads: soft rotis, laccha parathas, stuffed aloo parathas.
- Comfort food lunch box always comes with rice options like khichdi, curd rice, rajma rice.
- Sides: aachar (pickle), ghee - because what’s an Indian meal without these?
- Sweet ending: gajar ka halwa, gulab jamun, kheer (not everyday, but I try).
Personalise Your Meal
Some days all you want is dal chawal, other times a full thali. With the ‘make your own Indian thali’ combo, you get to choose - simple steps, no fuss.
Festivals & Seasons
For Diwali, Pongal, Navratri, I put together special menus. When it rains, I add pakodas, and for winter, there’s extra gajar ka halwa.

My Story
You know those days when rain meant hot pakode from Maa, not just traffic jams? Yeah, we miss that too. We’re just a bunch of folks who left home for big city dreams, only to realise nothing beats ‘ghar jaisa khana’ (food like home). After burning enough dal and bugging our moms with endless questions, we thought, why not just bring that maa ke haath ka khana (mom’s touch) straight to your door? That’s us. No frills, just food that feels like a hug.
