About The Art of Transformation
The biggest change in these projects isn't just the furniture, but the layout and lighting. We often replace old wiring and basic flooring to create a clean canvas, which allows us to add elements like layered cove lighting or wall moldings that define the room's character before a single piece of decor is placed.
When we take on a home transformation, we are not just decorating; we are fixing the flow. Many of our clients come to us with a space that feels disjointed, perhaps a living room that does not connect to the dining area, or a bedroom that functions like a storage unit.
Our approach involves:
- Evaluating the skeleton: We assess electrical points, natural light, and structural integrity before choosing a color palette.
- Reviving what you have: If you possess a family heirloom, like a grandfather's chair or a vintage cabinet, we build the design around it rather than replacing it.
- Technical detailing: This includes gypsum false ceilings, BWP plywood joinery for durability, and precise wall moldings that add depth to otherwise flat walls.
A successful transformation is about solving problems, like adding magnetic track lighting for better visibility or using tinted mirrors to make a small room feel twice its size. Whether we are stripping a room down to its raw cement or working with existing walls, our goal remains the same: a home that functions as beautifully as it looks.
