Live Beatbox and Loopstation Performances in Bangalore
Whether it is a rooftop jam or a festival stage, I build entire tracks from scratch using just my voice, a loopstation, and raw energy.
Going back and forth with another beatboxer during a live set. These vocal percussion duels are all about listening and reacting, which is a key skill we practice in my workshops.
A raw, candid shot from a late-night jam session. This is beatboxing in its natural element, just a few musicians, a mic, and a good vibe under a single light.
This montage shows the variety of events I perform and teach at, from flow arts festivals to local gigs. It proves that beatboxing is a versatile art form that fits anywhere.
A view from behind the crowd at a Sound Sessions jam. My workshops aim to build this same sense of community, where people feel comfortable enough to watch, learn, and eventually join in.
A focused moment during a beatbox duo performance. You can see the concentration required to sync up rhythms and sounds with another artist in real time.
The energy of a three-person jam with a guitarist and another vocalist. This shows how beatboxing can serve as the drum section for any band or musical collaboration.
A wide shot of our rooftop performance, capturing the intimate and energetic atmosphere. This is the kind of environment I create for private jams and group sessions.
Another look at a live collaboration, showing how I interact with other musicians on stage. Learning to beatbox can open up a new world of musical improvisation.
The audience is just as much a part of the performance. This shot captures the community vibe that I believe is essential for learning and enjoying music together.
About Live Jams & Performances
When I am performing, it is not just a show, it is a live construction of sound. I use my Boss RC-505 Loopstation to layer bass, rhythm, and melody in real time, making the audience part of the track's evolution rather than just spectators.
I do not believe in backing tracks or pre-recorded loops. Every beat you hear during my performance is built from scratch, right in front of you.
My approach to live jamming is rooted in the 'Human Orchestra' concept. I split sessions into layers, starting with the kick, hi-hat, and snare—the Holy Trinity of beatboxing—and building up to complex psytrance or drum and bass tracks using vocal percussion. This setup works perfectly for intimate rooftop gatherings in Bangalore, where the acoustics allow for that raw, unplugged feel, or for corporate events where we need to build a 'Corporate Anthem' to break the ice.
What to expect from a set:
- Real-time Improvisation: I feed off the energy of the room. If the crowd is feeling a specific tempo, I shift the loop to match.
- Technical Precision: As someone who codes, I approach the loopstation like a dev environment. I have my signal chain optimized for clarity, ensuring that even when I am layering heavy bass sounds, the rhythm stays crisp.
- Interactive Elements: For groups, I incorporate synchronization drills. We turn the audience into the instrument, splitting them into sections to create a massive, synchronized soundscape.
Whether you are hosting a tech event that needs a unique musical backdrop or a private jam session that needs a high-energy centerpiece, I show up with my mics, cables, and the loopstation. All I need from your side is a decent PA system to ensure the low-end hits properly. If you are looking for a performance that feels like a conversation rather than a recital, let us connect.
