Wedding Hosting From Roka to Reception
I am here to host your entire wedding journey. Whether it is an intimate Roka, a loud Haldi, or a grand Reception, I keep the energy high so you can actually enjoy your own party.
Hosting a Roka ceremony for a lovely North-meets-South couple. I love creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere for both families to mingle and celebrate the first official step of the wedding journey.
That happy smile after a successful Roka ceremony. It's a joy to kick off the wedding festivities and see two families come together with so much happiness.
A collage from a beautiful wedding reception I hosted. I adapt my style to fit the elegance of the evening while still keeping the atmosphere warm, engaging, and full of life.
Engaging with guests during a wedding reception. Even at a more formal event, I find ways to connect with the audience and create moments of fun and interaction.
It's not just weddings; I love hosting anniversary parties too. This was a special event celebrating a milestone, and it was filled with just as much fun and dancing.
About From Roka to Reception
I focus on bridging the gap between families during events like the Roka, or keeping the energy consistent through costume changes at your Reception. I do not use stiff, boring scripts. If your baraat is running late or your uncle needs to be pulled onto the dance floor, I handle it live with humor and zero awkward pauses, ensuring the flow of your event never breaks.
Your wedding isn't a scripted play, so why treat it like one? Whether it is the formal ring exchange at a Roka or the high-octane dance floor at your Reception, my approach stays the same: 'Host and Dost'.
The Roka to Reception Journey
- Roka & Engagement: These are intimate moments. I keep the atmosphere warm and welcoming, helping families from different backgrounds or cities break the ice and mingle comfortably.
- Haldi & Mehendi: Here, I switch to my 'masti' mode. I manage the crowd, run games like Tug-of-War or Paper Dance, and ensure even the quietest guests are part of the fun.
- Reception & Sangeet: This is where we bring the house down. I handle the stage flow, introduce your performers with funny anecdotes, and ensure your grandparents are just as entertained as your college friends.
Why I Don't Use Scripts
I believe in reading the room, not a piece of paper. If the energy dips, I have my games and one-liners ready to pull it back up. If a dance performance goes over time, I have filler segments to keep guests engaged. I am based in Mumbai, but I travel across India for weddings because I know every family deserves a host who actually cares about their story.
When you hire me, you aren't getting just an anchor—you are getting someone who will coordinate with your DJ, tease your cousins, and make sure the only thing you worry about is which song to dance to next.
