Motherhood and Multi-Generational Portraits
Capturing the love between mothers and their little ones, and the connection across generations. I specialize in preserving these family bonds with authentic, culturally-rooted photography right here in Kolhapur.
A truly priceless photograph capturing three generations of love. The grandmother holding her new grandchild, with the proud mother looking on, is a powerful and emotional story in a single frame.
The bond between a mother and her child is at the heart of my themed photoshoots. This Janmashtami portrait is a beautiful celebration of their connection, wrapped in cultural tradition.
This Ganpati-themed session beautifully captures a mother guiding her child in prayer. It's a perfect example of how I document the passing of traditions from one generation to the next.
A full-family portrait from our Janmashtami theme, showing the beautiful bond between mother and her little one. These sessions are designed to be fun and create lasting memories.
A quiet, tender moment between mother and baby. Even in a themed shoot, my goal is always to capture the natural love and affection that you share.
This portrait from the Krishna-themed shoot is a beautiful keepsake. It captures the baby's sweet expression and the mother's pride and joy.
Capturing the playful and curious nature of your child is just as important as the formal poses. This shot of the baby as little Krishna is full of personality.
About Motherhood & Generations
The secret to a relaxed multi-generational or motherhood session is having everything ready before you arrive. In my Kolhapur studio, I maintain a collection of props, traditional outfits, and backdrops specifically for these themes, so we spend less time coordinating and more time capturing the genuine smiles and interactions between family members.
Photographs of family generations are more than just images. They are a bridge between the past, present, and future of your family history. When a grandmother holds her grandchild, it creates a visual story that feels powerful and timeless. I focus on these quiet, honest moments, stripping away the unnecessary distractions so the bond stays the center of the frame.
Whether you want a simple portrait of a mother with her newborn or a larger shoot involving three generations, I provide the structure. I know the rhythm of these shoots, especially when working with infants or toddlers. We work at their pace. If the little one needs a break, we take it.
My studio setup is designed for these kinds of intimate portraits. I have specific props for cultural themes like Janmashtami or Ganpati Bappa Morya, and simple, classic backdrops for those clean, timeless portraits that never go out of style. You do not need to bring heavy props or worry about lighting setups, as I handle the technical side so you can focus on being present with your child.
If you are looking for a specific look, perhaps a traditional Maharashtrian aesthetic or a soft, minimal style, let me know beforehand. I am happy to adjust the lighting and background to match the vision you have for your family album. We can combine traditional setups with contemporary photography techniques to create something that feels both rooted in our culture and polished for your modern home.
