When you look at the photos of the decor I did for Surya Kumar Yadav or Kamiya Jani, you might see the flowers and the lights, but what I see is the problem solving behind the scenes. Every home has its own personality, constraints, and structural quirks. My job is to blend our decor into that existing space so it feels like it belongs there, rather than just a stage dropped in the middle of your living room.

For instance, with the pink floral Ganpati setup for SKY, we had to balance high-density artificial flowers with precise lighting to make sure it photographed well without overwhelming the room. Similarly, for the Akhand Path at Kamiya Jani’s place, the challenge was creating a divine, meditative atmosphere using white florals and greens that didn't feel cluttered. We used the existing home architecture to suspend the hanging elements, giving it that airy, peaceful feel.

Since 1983, I have worked in everything from compact Chembur apartments to sprawling bungalows in Navi Mumbai.
