How We Plan Your Surprise
- The Setup: If you are hiring decorators or planners, I coordinate with them to ensure the lighting and angles work for the camera. We discuss the 'where' and 'how' to make sure the proposal arch or decor is perfectly framed.
- The Reveal: I often use long lenses to stay at a distance until the moment happens. This allows you to have a private, uninterrupted moment while I capture the split-second change in expression when they realize what is happening.
- The Portrait Session: After the question is popped and the adrenaline settles, we use the remaining time for a calm, directed couple shoot. This helps capture the relief and joy in your expressions now that you are engaged.
