Commando Adventure & Teamwork Camps for Kids
I don't just teach kids how to climb or shoot; I build a team. Whether it’s a tug of war match or morning warm-ups, every activity here is about supporting each other, building confidence, and having fun together.
Teamwork makes the dream work. A classic game of tug of war brings out the energy and competitive spirit in everyone. Activities like these are central to my camps, fostering communication, strategy, and camaraderie among the children.
The pure joy of a team game. Watch the determination and excitement on the faces of our campers during a spirited tug of war match. It’s moments like these that create lasting memories and friendships.
A great day starts with a great warm-up. We begin our camp sessions with light exercises and stretches to get everyone's body and mind ready for the day's challenges. It also helps instill a sense of discipline and routine.
About Teamwork & Camp Spirit
It is funny how a simple game of tug of war changes things. At first, kids are just trying to pull the rope on their own, but after one round, they start shouting encouragement and coordinating their steps. That is the real goal of my commando camps—teamwork is not taught in a classroom, it is learned when you are muddy, tired, and relying on your partner to finish an obstacle course.
Building the 'Commando' Spirit
My camps in Dadar, Lalbaug, and our residential wilderness trips in Kamshet are built on one rule: learning must be fun. I keep my batches small, usually a maximum of six kids, so I can ensure everyone gets personal attention. This environment forces kids to step up, communicate, and solve problems together rather than just waiting for instructions.
Why the Team Focus Matters
When a child is 40 feet up on a climbing wall or navigating a river crossing, they get nervous. That is natural. By creating a team-based atmosphere, I ensure they never feel alone. Whether we are doing urban rappelling from a building terrace in Mumbai or practising basic CPR and fire safety, the kids are constantly looking out for each other.
What You Can Expect
- Practical Skills: We do more than play games. We learn real-world skills like basic fire extinguisher handling, first aid, and marksmanship using .177 air rifles.
- Physical & Mental Toughness: Obstacle courses, commando crawls, and rope ladders are designed to push them just the right amount.
- Inclusive Atmosphere: Whether your child is 7 or 18, they will find a spot in our Chhota Commando batches. We have female trainers for residential camps to make sure every girl child feels comfortable and safe.
If your child's josh (enthusiasm) needs a boost, this is where they will find it. Some kids get nervous at first, but by the end, they are asking for more. We keep it real—sometimes they get tired, and yes, they get muddy, but that is part of the adventure. Come for a trial session and see it for yourself. Aao, try karke dekho!
