Why I Teach Makeup
Makeup, for me, is all about bringing out the best in someone and keeping it real. It’s not about hiding flaws, but highlighting what makes each face unique. I love that moment when a client sees the final look, grins, and says, “ek number, shambar paiki shambar” (number one, 100 out of 100). That’s what I want you to be able to create too.

Hey, I’m Aakash Futane - makeup and hair artist from Mumbai. Makeup isn’t just work for me, it’s about making someone’s big day special. I’ve worked with celebs like Neha Marda, but my real joy is in bridal looks, especially Maharashtrian brides. I get into every detail - navari saree, jwellery, all of it.
