About Real Client Transformations
It is not just about applying product, but about the preparation. My signature glass skin finish starts with a specific cocktail of moisturizer and strobe cream applied before foundation. This ensures the base looks like healthy, glowing skin rather than a heavy layer, which is essential when balancing heavy traditional jewellery and intricate Nauvari drapes. This approach is what I teach at my academy in Dombivli and how I prep every bride.
The Art of the Transformation
Makeup is about highlighting features, not masking them. Whether I am working on a traditional Maharashtrian bride or a modern reception look, my goal is to enhance natural beauty. You will see this consistency across all these transformations—radiant skin that glows in person and on camera.
Why the 'Glass Skin' Finish Matters
Clients often ask how to avoid the 'cakey' look. The secret lies in skin science and product layering. I don't believe in using excessive layers of foundation. Instead, I focus on correcting skin tone and texture, then building the base to catch the light. This technique is particularly important for bridal photography, where HD makeup needs to look seamless under bright venue lights.
Traditional Meets Modern
My work often centers on the Maharashtrian aesthetic, which is deeply personal to me. Creating that iconic 'Aaisaheb' look requires precision with the traditional Nath, the placement of the Chandrakor bindi, and ensuring the Paithani saree is draped perfectly. I teach these specific techniques at my academy, where I also show students how to adapt them for modern sensibilities—like adding a soft glam eye look to a traditional outfit.
The Learning Experience
These transformations are the gold standard for what I expect from my students. In my masterclasses, I don't just teach theory. I demonstrate these exact looks on live models, from skin analysis to the final jewellery setting, so you learn to handle real-world challenges like color-correcting for different skin tones or setting a look to last through long ceremonies.
