A Day in the Life of a Delhi Lawyer
Litigation isn't just movie drama. Here is the daily grind behind my desk—from case prep in my chambers to navigating the corridors of Saket and Tis Hazari courts.
Focused on case preparation. Every detail matters when building a strong argument for a client, whether it's for a traffic challan or another legal matter. I believe in being the hardest worker in the room.
Late nights and chasing perfection are part of the job. Here I am in my office, reviewing case files and preparing for the next day in court. Excellence is the goal.
Working at my desk, surrounded by case files. This is where the strategy is built before ever stepping into the courtroom. Diligent preparation is key to success.
Taking a moment to review a case file in my chamber. A lawyer's work involves constant reading and analysis to ensure every angle is covered for the client.
Reviewing documents for a case. You can see my consultation fee sign in the background, which reflects my commitment to providing professional and dedicated legal services.
A moment in my chamber. This is my workspace where I meet clients, prepare legal documents, and plan my approach for court appearances.
Another shot from my office. Having a well-organized space with all my law books and files at hand is essential for efficient work.
Standing outside the Saket District Court building. This is one of the primary courts where I represent my clients for traffic challan resolutions and other legal matters.
A beautiful night view of the Saket District Court, illuminated for Independence Day. It's a powerful reminder of the institutions we work within to uphold justice.
A proud moment with my colleagues at our office inauguration in New Delhi. Starting our own law firm was a big step, built on hard work and the blessings of our families.
About My Life as a Lawyer
Being a lawyer is mostly about the work you don't see on camera. It’s hours of file review, drafting applications, and waiting your turn at the Magistrate’s office. When you hire me, you aren't paying for a movie script; you're hiring someone who puts in the actual paperwork and queue-management time to get results in courts like Saket and Tis Hazari.
People often ask if the legal profession is like what they see on screen. It really isn't. The 'life of a lawyer' that I document here is the raw, unfiltered version. It involves late nights at my desk, understanding the nuances of the Motor Vehicles Act, and physically standing in queues at Delhi’s district courts.
I maintain an active office in Molar Band Extension, where I coordinate with my team and prepare for upcoming hearings. Whether I'm representing clients in Lok Adalat, handling a contested challan, or giving family law advice, the process remains detail-oriented. My focus is always on the 'why' and 'how' of the law. I don't give vague assurances. If there’s a roadblock in your case, you will hear it from me directly.
Being a student for life—pursuing my LLM while practicing—means I stay updated with recent court circulars and legal developments. This continuous learning directly benefits your case, ensuring that the legal strategy we use is current and compliant.
I am based primarily in Delhi and regularly appear at:
- Saket District Court
- Tis Hazari Court
- Patiala House Court
- Rohini Court
- Karkardooma Court
If you need a lawyer who skips the jargon and focuses on a realistic, step-by-step path to resolution, let’s talk.
