About TPL 'Race to Gold' Tournaments
Instead of just playing a match, this event tracks points on the TPL app. When your child competes here, they are not just playing for a local trophy; they are climbing the district leaderboard for a scholarship worth ₹75,000. It is a structured pathway for juniors who want to take their game from practice sessions to national recognition.
The 'Race to Gold' events are structured differently than our standard weekend knockouts. By partnering with the Tennis Premier League, we offer players a platform where every win counts toward an official digital ranking. This system tracks performance across the season, and top-ranked players are eligible for a scholarship worth ₹75,000.
We host these events for junior categories, typically ranging from U8 to U16. The goal is simple: match pressure. We have seen time and again that practice sessions do not replicate the intensity of a tournament environment. At these events, players manage their own match nerves, deal with line calls, and handle the physical demands of playing multiple rounds in a single day.
Our role as organizers is to ensure the integrity of the competition. We run the draws and oversee the officiating to keep the standard high, similar to how we manage our AITA events. If your child is looking for a path beyond just casual play, these tournaments are the place to start. You are not just getting court time; you are getting data-backed experience that counts toward a larger goal. Check our upcoming schedule to see which age categories are open for registration.
