Handwoven Beaded Bags and Pearl Accessories
I weave every bag and crop top by hand using high-grade beads and durable nylon wire. Each piece is made right here in my Ukhrul home, designed to last and stand out.
Here I am holding two of my handmade beaded shoulder bags. This shows the size of the bags and how they can be styled. One is a vibrant hot pink and the other is a more subtle metallic bronze, showcasing some of the different colors available.
This is a collection of my classic white pearl beaded bags. It includes several different designs, from small clutches and crossbody bags to larger top-handle styles, all handcrafted with the same timeless and elegant look.

About Handwoven Beaded Creations
Unlike fabric bags, these pieces are constructed with high-tensile nylon wire and 8-10mm acrylic beads, giving them a rigid, self-supporting structure that holds its shape even when full. Because I build them bead by bead, the finish is smooth and consistent without loose threads or fabric fatigue, though I do recommend avoiding direct contact with perfumes to keep the pearls shining bright.
My Approach to Beadwork
When I started working with beads, I wanted to create accessories that felt different from mass-produced cloth items. By using a high-tensile clear nylon wire, I can weave the beads into a grid that maintains its shape perfectly. Whether it is a small box clutch or a larger shoulder bag, you do not need to worry about the bottom sagging or the bag losing its structure.
Styling and Maintenance
These pieces are meant for daily use, but they also work for special occasions. The pearl white bags pair well with sarees or formal wear, while the metallic bronze and hot pink options add a pop of colour to casual outfits. Because these are made with acrylic pearls and beads, they are surprisingly light despite their rigid look.
To keep them looking new:
- Avoid Perfumes: The coating on faux pearls can be sensitive to chemicals found in perfumes and lotions, so spray those before putting on your bag.
- Cleaning: A simple wipe with a damp, soft cloth is enough to remove dust.
- Storage: Keep them in a pouch when not in use to avoid scratches on the bead surface.
