Whether it’s a medical coat for a graduation or a dirt bike scene for a racer, I work with you to map out the details. I combine custom fondant props with my signature Italian Meringue Buttercream base, so the cake actually tastes as good as it looks.
How We Design Your Passion
When you come to me with a hobby or profession idea—whether it's a camera for a photographer, a stethoscope for a doctor, or a gaming setup—I start by looking at what makes that interest unique to you.
I don't do 'cookie-cutter' designs. Instead, we look at the core elements. For example, if we're doing a shopaholic theme, we focus on tiny, handcrafted fondant shopping bags and accessories that look real enough to pick up. If it's a sports theme, we figure out how to best position the action elements.
The 'Buttercream Over Fondant' Promise
I’m honest about this: I prefer Italian Meringue Buttercream. It’s richer, silkier, and just tastes better than a fully fondant-covered cake. For these hobby cakes, I use a buttercream base and add fondant elements as the 'decor' on top. You get the fun, custom visual you want without sacrificing the flavor of the cake underneath.
