About My Garden's Bounty
The secret to a good harvest isn't just water and sun; it is about understanding the life cycle of your plants. When I guide people on container gardening, I emphasize that even a small balcony can yield impressive results if you focus on the soil mix—that is where the real magic happens, not in expensive store-bought fertilizers.
Growing food and flowers in a small apartment space is entirely possible if you have patience. My journey started with a few seeds, and today, my terrace is a jungle of tomatoes, brinjals, chillies, and vibrant pooja flowers like hibiscus and jasmine. I have learned through trial and error that you do not need a farm to grow a harvest.
The Organic Way
Everything I grow is 100% organic. Whether it is making liquid fertilizer from onion peels or keeping pests away with neem oil spray, I rely on simple ingredients from my own kitchen. Composting does not have to be complicated or smelly; with the right setup, it is just a way to return nutrients to the earth. When you handle your own soil and watch a tiny seed become a vegetable, you develop a connection with nature that city life often takes away.
Gardening as Seva
For me, the garden is a mandir. The flowers I harvest are offered at the lotus feet of Kannaya, which makes the act of gardening a daily spiritual practice. If you are struggling with yellowing leaves or plants that just won't bloom, it usually comes down to simple adjustments in your watering schedule or sunlight placement. I offer mentorship to help you set up your own sacred green space, whether you want a dedicated pooja garden or a terrace full of fresh organic food. My goal is to teach you how to maintain this life on your own so your garden becomes a source of happiness rather than a chore.
