Growing flowers for pooja shouldn't mean rushing to the market. I will help you plan your terrace or balcony so you always have fresh, organic blooms ready for every auspicious day.

On the holy day of Sri Rama Navami, I felt so blessed to offer these beautiful jasmine flowers, grown with love in my own garden, to Lord Rama. There is no greater feeling than making an offering from what you have nurtured yourself.

Happy Vaikuntha Ekadashi. On this auspicious day, I am harvesting flowers from my garden to offer to Lord Vishnu. Having a pooja garden means you always have the freshest, purest offerings ready for these special occasions.

Tulasi Vivaha is a beautiful ceremony celebrating the wedding of the Tulsi plant to Lord Vishnu. Here is my small balcony celebration, where I decorate my Tulsi plant like a bride and light diyas to mark the holy occasion.

For Navratri, a time of worshipping Maa Durga, lemons are considered very auspicious. I was so happy to harvest a big bowl of organic lemons from my garden as part of my preparations for the festival pooja.

For Ganesh Chaturthi, 21 different types of leaves are offered in a special pooja. I show the process of identifying and collecting these sacred leaves, many of which I grow myself, to prepare for the festival.

Celebrating Ashadhi Ekadashi with flowers from my garden. On this day, when Lord Vishnu begins his cosmic sleep, I perform a small pooja with my homegrown flowers, feeling connected to the divine cycle.

For Mahashivratri, I performed a small pooja for my silver-coated Shiva idol from Idolkart. I decorated the altar with beautiful hibiscus and jasmine flowers harvested fresh from my terrace garden. Om Namah Shivaya.

It feels like my plants know when it's a festival. For Ganesh Chaturthi, my hibiscus plants bloomed so much. I was able to gather a tray full of colorful flowers to offer to Lord Ganesha.

A very happy Ganesh Chaturthi to everyone. This is my eco-friendly Ganesha, decorated with leaves and flowers grown right here on my terrace. Celebrating festivals with nature makes them feel even more pure and blessed.

For Sri Krishna Janmashtami, I created this simple and beautiful flower decoration for my little Kannaya. Using fresh jasmine, hibiscus, and roses from my garden makes the celebration feel so personal and full of love.

About A Garden for Every Festival

It takes patience to align your garden harvest with specific dates like Ganesh Chaturthi or Navratri. I help you set up a precise planting calendar so that your hibiscus, jasmine, and sacred leaves are ready exactly when you need them, without having to rely on store-bought flowers that may not be grown with the same care.

Gardening is my seva, my way of offering to the divine. When I started growing my own pooja flowers, I realized how much peace it brought to offer something I had nurtured myself.

I can help you plan your container garden to ensure you have a steady supply of sacred blooms throughout the year. We start by looking at your space—whether it is a tiny balcony or a full terrace—and select plants that thrive in your local Anantapur climate.

Seasonal Planning

  • Ganesh Chaturthi: We plan months ahead to ensure your Eka Vimshati Patra (21 sacred leaves) are ready for the pooja.
  • Navratri & Diwali: I show you how to boost hibiscus and jasmine growth for peak flowering during these holy weeks.
  • Daily Pooja: We select hardy varieties like Tulsi, Marigold, and Parijat that offer continuous blooms for your morning rituals.

My Organic Approach

Everything I teach is 100% chemical-free. I will show you how to make natural liquid fertilizers from kitchen scraps—like banana peels and onion skins—to encourage more flowers. We also look at simple pest control methods that keep your sacred plants healthy without using harmful chemicals near your altar.

It is not about having a perfect farm; it is about the joy of having your own mandir at home. If you want to grow your own sacred space, I would be happy to guide you.
