Editorial & Glamour Makeup Looks
From classic red lips to sharp high-fashion concepts, I create camera-ready makeup that ensures you look like the main character in every frame.
This is a timeless glamour look I created for a portfolio shoot. I focused on flawless skin, a classic bold red lip, and soft, defined eyes, paired with voluminous, wavy hair to create an elegant and sophisticated final image.
For this concept shoot, we aimed for a modern and powerful aesthetic. I styled a sleek, high ponytail and created a dramatic smokey eye, complemented by a strong pose and vibrant lighting to bring the edgy vision to life.
About Editorial & Glamour Shoots
When you are under studio lights, the biggest challenge is avoiding flashback. I use specific layering techniques learned at the Daniel Bauer Academy to ensure your skin looks breathable and flawless in high-definition photos, rather than washed out or over-powdered.
My approach to editorial and glamour makeup is built on one core belief: enhancing what is naturally there. Whether we are aiming for that timeless Hollywood wave look with a bold red lip or going for an experimental aesthetic with glass skin and graphic liner, the focus remains on texture control and longevity.
Why Technique Matters
For shoots, your makeup needs to do more than just look good in person. It has to perform. Using premium products from brands like NARS and MAC, I prep the skin with extensive hydration and toning to create a base that stays fresh for hours. This is particularly important for the high-intensity environment of a fashion shoot where you might be changing outfits or lighting setups frequently.
Behind the Lens
I have spent time handling the chaos of backstage areas at award shows and fashion shoots. This experience taught me how to manage the clock while maintaining precision. If you are planning a concept shoot in Mumbai, Varanasi, or elsewhere, I come fully equipped with a complete vanity setup, including portable lighting to ensure that no matter the location, we get the shot right.
My Styling Philosophy
- Skin Prep: I focus on a breathable base that resists sweat and shine.
- Hair Styling: From slick, high-fashion ponytails to voluminous waves, I match the hair to the specific vibe of your wardrobe.
- Adaptability: I am used to quick look changes, whether it is shifting from a corporate headshot look to a dramatic evening aesthetic.
If you have a creative vision, I am up for the ride. Let us collaborate to create looks that hold up to the scrutiny of the camera lens.
