Playing a festival isn't just about the mix. It is about crowd control. When you are standing in front of 1500+ people, you need a DJ who knows how to use the mic, manage stage visuals, and pull off interactive moments like sit-downs or clap routines to keep the energy levels peaking from the first track to the last.
The Festival Experience
Big stages require a different level of preparation compared to club gigs. When I book a festival or large-scale event, we are not just talking about a playlist. We are talking about a full production.
My Festival Setup:
- Crowd Interaction: I specialize in high-energy sets that go beyond the decks. I integrate crowd control techniques, from coordinated jumps to sit-down drops, ensuring the entire audience is locked into the moment. If your stage setup includes CO2 guns or SFX, I know how to time those perfectly with the bass drops.
- Custom Visuals: You get more than just sound. I provide branded LED visual loops to match the stage backdrop, creating a cohesive visual experience that hits as hard as the music.
- Technical Precision: I run a strict technical rider. I am used to performing on industry-standard setups like CDJ 3000s or NXS2 systems. This ensures that when I step up, the transition is seamless and the sound is crisp.

Whether it is a college fest in Mumbai or a gig in Jakarta, the goal remains the same. I mix genres that bridge gaps. My signature sounds, like 'AfroDesi' and 'Gujju Drill', travel well because they take familiar Bollywood roots and give them a modern, global twist. Heads up: For these sets, I always arrive 60 minutes before gates open for a full sound check. I treat every festival stage like it is my own, making sure the audio, the visuals, and the vibe are 100% ready to explode when the set begins.
