Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani 3D Festival Animations
I bring Mumbai's most iconic festival, Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani, to life through handcrafted 3D animations and dramatic reveal teasers.
The official teaser animation for the Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani 'Aagman Sohala' of 2021. The animation reveals the event date with a dramatic silhouette of the idol, building anticipation for the arrival ceremony.
A 3D animation for the 'Patpujan Sohala' of Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani. This visual reveals the sacred form used in the slab worship ceremony, decorated with peacock feathers against a vibrant LED screen backdrop.
This is the full 3D T-shirt reveal animation I created for Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani. The video showcases the custom-designed polo shirt, highlighting the embroidered logo and unique fabric pattern in a dramatic, fiery reveal.
About this collection
I do not use AI for any of these renders. Every frame, from the initial idol silhouette to the lighting for the Aagman Sohala, is modeled and animated from scratch in Maya and Blender. This ensures that the sacred geometry and the specific details of the Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani are respected and captured with high fidelity.
Creating visuals for an event as significant as the Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani festival requires more than just technical skill. It requires an understanding of the emotion behind the Aagman Sohala. When I work on these teasers, my goal is to build anticipation for the festival using cinematic lighting, custom rigging, and precise texturing.
My Technical Approach
- Custom Modeling: I do not use stock assets. Whether it is a T-shirt reveal or a Patpujan Sohala visual, I build the 3D assets to match the real-world references provided by the mandal.
- Atmospheric Lighting: I use volumetric lighting to create the 'divine' feel often associated with Ganesha Chaturthi visuals. This adds depth to the LED screen backdrops and physical event installations.
- Post-Production: The final look is achieved through layering in After Effects. I focus on color grading that complements the vibrant red and gold themes traditional to this specific festival.
Why Hand-Crafted Matters
In a world flooded with generic, algorithm-generated images, my commitment is to human-made art. You will not find random artifacts or inconsistent details in my work. My process is transparent, and I collaborate closely with organizers to ensure that every sequence, from the reveal of the idol to the merchandise showcases, aligns with the specific vibe of the Chinchpokli event. If you are looking for visuals that carry the weight and respect of Mumbai's traditions, I am here to build them for you.
