About Personalized For You: Initials & Names
I treat every name or initial as a core part of the design flow, not just an add-on. Whether you prefer clean English script or intricate Urdu calligraphy, I weave the letters into the surrounding jaal or floral motifs so the design feels seamless. It is a small, hidden detail that makes your mehendi uniquely yours when you look back at your wedding photos.
Adding a name or initial is one of my favorite parts of the bridal process. It turns a standard design into a keepsake. When we sit down to plan your henna, we can decide exactly where these details should go.
How I Integrate Names
- Placement: The forearm is usually the best canvas for names because it allows for a clear, readable design that doesn't get distorted by the movement of your fingers.
- Style: I can write initials in a modern, looping English style, or I can use traditional Urdu calligraphy for a more classic, aesthetic look.
- Integration: I don't just write a name on a blank space. I build the surrounding floral vines, rose petals, or geometric nets around the letters, so the name feels like it was always meant to be part of the pattern.
Why It Matters
For many of my brides, finding the hidden name during the wedding festivities becomes a fun tradition. It adds a layer of sentiment to the hours you spend sitting for the application. Because I only use natural, organic henna, that name will also develop a beautiful, dark stain, making sure your personalized touch stays visible throughout your post-wedding events. If you have a specific font or a special date you want included alongside the names, let me know, and we can make it happen.
