About Milestone & Sitter Sessions
Sitter sessions are best timed when your little one can comfortably sit up on their own but isn't quite crawling away yet—usually between 6 to 9 months. I plan these sessions around your baby's nap schedule, keeping the environment calm and playful so we can capture those genuine expressions without stress.
Capturing the 'In-Between' Moments
These months fly by so fast. One day they’re wobbly, and the next, they’re exploring the room. My sitter sessions are designed to slow time down. Whether it’s a milestone birthday or just a regular Tuesday where they’ve learned a new trick, I focus on the personality quirks that make your baby who they are.
What to Expect During Your Session
- Timing is Everything: I always tell parents that a happy baby makes for the best photos. We work around your baby's specific routine—feeding times and nap windows are non-negotiable for a relaxed session.
- Themes & Comfort: From starry night backdrops to boho-floral setups, I have a range of props at my Santacruz studio. If you have a specific vision, let me know; I love incorporating elements that feel authentic to your family.
- Include the Family: Your story involves more than just the baby. Parents, siblings, and grandparents are always welcome to jump in. As I say, "Sab log aao yaar!"—the best photos often feature the love and connection between everyone.
- Milestone Birthdays: If we’re marking a first birthday, we can include a fun cake smash. It’s messy, it’s chaotic, and it’s always one of my favorite parts of the job.
Practical Tips
- Clothing: Keep it simple. Natural fabrics and neutral colors usually age the best in photos.
- Safety First: My studio is fully sanitized, and I use props designed for baby safety. If we're doing an at-home session, I bring the studio to you, ensuring a controlled, clean space.
