Ever wonder why an outfit looks great on your friend but feels off on you? It is not you, it is the fit. Let us decode your body type and find what makes you shine.

Understanding your body shape is the first step to unlocking your style. This graphic shows the four common body types I cover in my workshops: rectangle, pear, inverted triangle, and hourglass.

Here are the four main body shapes I work with: Rectangle, Triangle (or Pear), Inverted Triangle (or Apple), and Hourglass. Knowing which one you are is a game-changer.

This is the introduction to my guide for the rectangular body type. If you have a straighter figure, I can show you simple tricks to create more definition and curves.

The goal of dressing for your body shape is to create visual balance, similar to an hourglass figure. This infographic shows how different clothing choices can alter your perceived silhouette.

A rectangle body shape is defined by having similar shoulder and hip measurements with little waist definition. I teach you how to use clothes to create the illusion of a more defined waist.

Here is a real-life example of how I style a rectangular body shape. By using drop sleeves and narrow-bottom pants, we create proportion and the illusion of an hourglass figure.

In this live example, you can see how specific elements like a crop top and drop sleeves work together to create balance and equal proportions for a rectangular body shape.

The pear body shape, or triangle, typically has hips that are wider than the bust and shoulders. My styling techniques focus on drawing attention upward to balance the lower body.

Women with an inverted triangle body shape have broader shoulders than hips. I focus on choosing clothing that adds volume to the lower body to create a more balanced silhouette.

The hourglass shape is characterized by a well-defined waist with nearly equal bust and hip measurements. If this is your shape, I help you choose pieces that highlight your natural curves.
