About this collection
What makes the Gulabi Genda theme work is the balance between raw, natural elements and polished luxury. We paired fresh banana leaves and rustic brass Urlis with cascading imported roses and crystal chandeliers to create a space that feels deeply rooted in Jaipur yet refined enough for a grand Leela Palace celebration.
For this Jaipur destination wedding, we wanted to honor the city’s royal spirit while staying true to our signature style. The Gulabi Genda theme is our answer to the demand for something fresh, organic, yet inherently grand.
The Design Philosophy
The palette relies on deep pinks and whites, but the magic lies in the texture. We used lush, local banana leaves to anchor the floral arrangements, grounding the soaring crystal chandeliers and heavy fabric drapes. This mixture of 'kacha' (raw) elements like banana leaves and marigolds with high-end fabric and lighting is how we bring Delhi-style luxury to a Jaipur backdrop.
Why This Works for Jaipur
Jaipur’s architecture demands a decor style that complements rather than competes. By using light, breezy drapes and open-air floral mandaps, we allowed the heritage of the venue to shine through. The inclusion of personalized touches—like custom-printed aisles and handwritten notes for guests—ensured the large space felt intimate and personal.
Technical Highlights
- Floral Mix: A 60-40 blend of fresh roses and seasonal chrysanthemums.
- Lighting: Warm, layered lighting using brass Urlis and floating candles to contrast with the bright daylight.
- Structure: We avoided heavy, blocked-off stages in favor of open structures that kept the view of the palace grounds clear.
We don't believe in templates. If you are planning a celebration in Rajasthan or anywhere else, we approach the venue as a canvas, mixing tradition with modern design to build a space that feels entirely yours.
