Magazine Covers and Editorial Photography
I do not just click photos; I build worlds. With over 350 magazine covers to my credit, I work with a dedicated crew of stylists and artists to create cinematic, story-driven visuals that demand attention.

Blending into nature’s couture. This shot from the Verve India series with Lisa Haydon plays with scale, contrasting the human form against a massive bamboo grove.
When the colors spill, the story begins. This fashion flashback for Cosmopolitan India was shot on special infrared film, creating a surreal and painterly effect.
About Magazine Covers & Editorials
A magazine editorial is a full-scale production, not just a photoshoot. I bring a complete team, including stylists, makeup pros, and lighting technicians, to ensure every frame tells a story, whether we are shooting on location or in a controlled studio setting.
When you are shooting for a cover, the margin for error is zero. That is why my approach is always collaborative. I do not work alone. When you book a session with me, you are hiring a production powerhouse. My team includes top-tier stylists and makeup artists who understand the vision before we even pick up the camera. We discuss the concept, the lighting, and the emotion behind the shot to ensure the final result is striking.
I have shot for major publications like Verve, Femina, Hello!, and Cosmopolitan, and the one thing that connects them all is the need for a narrative. My style is often described as raw and cinematic. I love playing with light and shadow to sculpt features and moods, creating images that look like they have been pulled from a film. Whether it is a high-fashion look on a Parisian street or an intimate, moody portrait, I focus on the connection between the subject and the lens.
Often, people ask if I handle the post-production. My philosophy is to get it right in the camera. We use professional lighting setups, tethering stations, and high-resolution medium format equipment to capture every detail. My team and I handle the creative execution, so you can focus on the performance.
If you have a concept in mind, let us talk. Whether you need a portfolio-boosting editorial spread or a brand-defining cover, I am here to help you bring that vision to life.

I am Vikram, and I believe every great photo starts with a conversation, not a camera. When we shoot, it is about the team—the stylists, the makeup artists, and your energy coming together to create something bigger than a single image. Let us make something real.
