About Pre-Wedding & Other Events
I don't just pin your hair; I build a foundation for it. Whether you are prepping for a mehendi function or a long engagement ceremony, I use techniques like micro-crimping and light texture sprays to give your hair natural volume that doesn't feel stiff or heavy. This ensures your style stays perfectly in place from the start of the puja until your final photo, without needing constant touch-ups.
Every pre-wedding event has different requirements. For a Varapooja or Bangle ceremony, you usually need a look that keeps hair away from your face while allowing for traditional floral accessories like jasmine gajra. For these, I focus on neat braids that are stitched securely to your hair, ensuring the flowers don't droop or slip even if you are moving around.
For engagements, we have more room for creativity. If you prefer a modern style, I specialize in messy braids, pull-through techniques, and textured half-up styles that pair well with gowns or silk sarees. If you are wearing a heavy dupatta or veil, I ensure the hairstyle is structured enough to support the weight without pulling on your scalp.
I travel to your home or venue in both Bangalore and Mysore. When we work together, I look at your outfit and jewelry first. If you have specific hair extensions or jewelry you want to use, let me know, and I will incorporate them into the design. I also coordinate with your makeup artist—whether you are using one of my frequent collaborators or a different artist—to ensure the hair and makeup styles complement each other perfectly.
