Sophisticated Living and Social Space Designs
The living room is where your daily story unfolds. I design social spaces that balance effortless hospitality with profound comfort, using light, texture, and tailored elements to create environments that breathe.
I designed this living space with a wooden beam ceiling and soft neutral tones to exude warmth and sophistication. The grand chandeliers and classic marble fireplace anchor the room, creating a perfect blend of luxury and comfort for gatherings.
Natural light is a key material in my designs. In this contemporary living area, I used an abundance of it, complemented by a backlit onyx wall, to create a space that is airy, welcoming, and aesthetically appealing.
This living room is a harmony of off-white elegance and beige comfort, bathed in natural light. I used subtle pops of color in the accessories and a wood-accented ceiling to enhance the warmth and create a serene, sophisticated space.
A living space designed to be both easy and breezy. The blend of beige, brown, and soft whites creates a calming charm, while the statement chandelier and curated art add a touch of sophistication.
Located in Mayfair Garden, New Delhi, I designed this day lounge as a gentle escape. The refreshing white and blue palette, soft wooden flooring, and views of nature create a perfect spot to slow down and unwind.
This modern classic living room is an expanse of luxury. I used grand chandeliers, stone cladding, and exquisite upholstery to create a space that whispers sophistication in every detail, from the arched walls to the curated furniture.
A living space designed for timelessness. The massive, cascading chandelier serves as the room's centerpiece, complemented by a floral accent wall and plush, curved seating that invites conversation and relaxation.
A real-life view of the Sekhri family residence at DLF Camellias. The design focuses on a warm, inviting atmosphere with plush grey sofas, a deep green ottoman, and layered textures that create a sense of quiet luxury.
Featured in High5 Haute Homes, this living room showcases my approach to creating a welcoming family space. The design balances comfort and style, with a focus on high-quality materials and a connection to the outdoor views.
Another angle of the Sekhri residence, highlighting the interplay of light and texture. The grand chandelier and paneled walls create a sophisticated backdrop for the comfortable, modern furnishings.
About Living & Social Spaces
Achieving this effortless flow isn't just about furniture placement; it relies on the invisible architecture of your daily movement. I look at how you naturally traverse a room—where you set your glass down, how the light hits your reading chair, and the acoustics of your conversations. We don't just fill space; we curate paths of ease for your life.
True social spaces are not showrooms. They are active, living environments designed to facilitate connection while providing a necessary sense of retreat. My approach to living and social design, whether in a high-rise residence in DLF Camellias or a private home in Mayfair Gardens, is rooted in neuro-aesthetic principles. The volume and proportion of a room are calibrated to induce specific states of calm or engagement.
The Philosophy of Flow
It begins with understanding the 'how' of your life. Does your family gravitate toward a formal setting, or is the living room a daily decompression zone? We use layered lighting—from dramatic chandeliers to soft, hidden cove illumination—to shift the room's mood from day to night. It is about crafting an atmosphere that feels expansive yet intimate.
Texture as Language
Texture is our primary language. Whether it is the cool, grounding feel of Italian marble underfoot or the tactile softness of custom-upholstered, curved sofas, every material is selected to be experienced by touch, not just seen. We integrate natural elements like wood-beam ceilings and indoor greenery to tether the space to the outside world, creating a seamless, biophilic transition that reduces cortisol and increases a sense of well-being.
A Bespoke Process
We don't follow trends; we study your rituals. Every piece of furniture, from the statement coffee table to the library wall, is designed to serve a specific purpose in your routine. The result is a space that feels entirely yours, grounded in craftsmanship that ages gracefully and stands the test of time.
