Behind the Scenes at My Art Market Stalls
Come see where the magic happens! I love popping up at art markets across Mumbai and Bangalore to share my handmade crochet and cross-stitch pieces with you in person.
This is me at my stall during a weekend art market. I love getting to meet everyone and share my work. You can see my table full of colorful cross-stitch and crochet creations, from tiny plants to cute animal charms.
An overhead view of my entire stall setup at an outdoor art fair. My table is covered with a huge variety of handmade items, including my cross-stitch pins, keychains, crochet animals, and even some art prints.
Another angle of my market stall, showing the full range of my handmade accessories. You can spot the fluffy crochet stingrays, tiny potted plants, and a wide selection of my cross-stitch pins and keychains ready for new homes.
A closer look at my table display during a sunny market day. I arrange all my handmade goods, from the tiny crochet strawberries and carrots to the larger stingrays, so everyone can find something they love.
Having a super fun and candid moment at my stall. Running this small business is all about joy and community, and moments like this, with a crochet octopus on my hat, are what make it all worthwhile.
Chatting with a friend in front of my stall at an art market. These events are such a great way to connect with fellow artists and friends who support my work. It’s the best part of being a small business owner.
A happy photo of me behind my stall, surrounded by my crochet creations. Doing these markets is such a warm and exciting experience, and I'm so grateful for everyone who stops by to support my journey.
About Meet Me at the Market
Seeing my pieces in person is a completely different vibe than scrolling online. When you catch me at a stall, you can actually feel the texture of the amigurumi and pick out the exact keychain that speaks to you, which is honestly my favorite part of these events.
Market days are honestly the highlights of my year. Whether I am in Mumbai or Bangalore, these pop-ups are where I get to connect with the community and see the reactions to my latest tiny creations in real-time.
There is something so special about watching someone fall in love with a crochet stingray or pick out a cross-stitch pin for their backpack right there at the table. It is not just about the sale, it is about sharing space with fellow queer artists and friends who support this silly, heartfelt journey.
If you have seen my setup, you know the table is usually packed with everything from tiny potted plants to pop-culture icons. I try to bring a mix of ready-to-wear pins and those sturdy, hand-stitched keychains. If you have missed me at a local event, do not stress! You can still grab these handmade goodies right here or hit me up for a custom order if you are looking for something specific. These stalls are just a slice of what I do, and I am always dreaming of where Tinieknits might pop up next. Drop me a message if you want to know where I am stalling next or just want to chat about custom designs!
