Transforming private backyards and gardens into personal sanctuaries for your special day. We focus on blending the natural environment with thoughtful decor to keep the atmosphere warm, organic, and grounded.

For this intimate home wedding, we created a beautiful mandap within a garden gazebo, surrounded by lush greenery. The setting feels both natural and sacred, proving that a smaller scale can be just as breathtaking.

The guest seating was arranged among the trees, with simple wooden chairs and tables dressed in burlap. This rustic-chic setup created a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt perfectly integrated with the natural garden venue.

We love incorporating unique, personal touches like this vintage radio, adorned with fresh flowers. Antique props can add a wonderful sense of nostalgia and character to a wedding's decor, telling a story that is unique to the couple.

An antique gold-finished chest serves as a stunning decorative piece, overflowing with tuberose and baby's breath. This element combines vintage charm with floral elegance, creating a beautiful focal point in the garden setting.

A close-up of the lush, tropical floral arrangements used to adorn the mandap. We used a mix of birds of paradise, roses, and orchids to create a vibrant and textured look that stands out against the green foliage.

The table centerpieces featured a mix of tropical flowers like red ginger lily and roses, arranged in simple green vases. These arrangements added a pop of colour to the rustic tablescapes while maintaining a natural, garden feel.

About this collection

For home weddings, the biggest challenge is making the space feel intentional rather than just decorated. In the images above, we used burlap tablecloths and vintage brass chests to create textures that complement the garden foliage. We identify natural anchors in your venue—an old tree, a gazebo, or a specific pathway—and design around them, ensuring the decor feels like a natural extension of the landscape rather than something added on.

When designing for an intimate garden wedding, the environment dictates the aesthetic. We move away from heavy, artificial structures and instead lean into what the space already offers. Our goal is to ground the setup in the setting. We prioritize organic textures like burlap, raw silk, and aged brass, which harmonize with the greenery rather than competing with it.

Our Approach to Garden Design

  • Site-Specific Planning: Before we sketch a single design, we visit the venue. We look for existing focal points, like a gazebo or a significant tree, and build the mandap or seating area to highlight these features.
  • Natural Textures: We swap high-gloss materials for earthier options. Think wooden chairs, jute runners, and antique props like brass vessels or vintage radios, which add a layer of nostalgia and warmth.
  • Floral Styling: In an outdoor setting, flowers should feel like they belong there. We use high-density, multi-textured arrangements featuring tuberose, birds of paradise, and orchids, keeping the color palette earthy to match the garden environment.
  • Intimate Flow: For guest seating, we avoid rigid, stadium-style rows. Instead, we use clusters of furniture under the trees, creating small conversational pockets that encourage guests to mingle and feel at ease.

Whether you are planning a small ceremony in a Bengaluru residence or a weekend getaway in Kerala, our team handles the logistics of bringing structural elements into non-commercial spaces. We manage the delicate balance of bringing in heavy decor without damaging the landscape, ensuring the site is left as beautiful as we found it.

I am Madhusudan, and I lead the team here at Tie-In Productions. My approach to intimate garden weddings is simple: we find the story in the garden, whether it is an old tree or a hidden corner, and highlight it. We do not believe in overwhelming a natural space; we just want to help it tell your story a little more clearly.
