Behind the Scenes: Real Dog Training Methods
Training is not just about teaching commands. Here is a look at the reality of rehabilitation, building trust, and the daily work that goes into every session at my Noida farm.
A quick look at what my life as a canine coach involves. It's a mix of training sessions, walks, and lots of positive reinforcement with many different dogs, each with their own unique personality.
Sometimes the best reward is a quiet moment of connection. Building a bond based on trust and affection is the ultimate goal of all my training.
I am passionate about helping shelter dogs become more adoptable. Here is a dog we are training to help her overcome her fears and find a loving forever home.
About Behind the Scenes
You see a dog sitting still, but I see the weeks of consistent, incremental progress that got us there. Whether I am working with a reactive shelter dog or coaching a nervous parent, the real transformation happens when you stop focusing on fixing the dog and start changing your own communication. My farm in Noida provides the space for this, where we use structure and routine rather than force to build a genuine bond.
The Reality of Rehabilitation
People often ask for quick fixes, but the truth is that behavior modification takes time. When you see me working with a shelter dog, we are not just teaching them to sit or stay. We are often undoing previous trauma and teaching them how to be a dog again. It requires patience and consistency, two of the three pillars I base all my work on. There are no shortcuts.
Why the Farm Environment Matters
My 1500-plus square yard farm in Noida is designed for this exact purpose. It allows for a controlled, distraction-free environment where I can practice desensitization. We use real-world scenarios—proper walks, structured play, and social interactions—to burn physical energy while building mental stability. It is about creating a routine that gives the dog a sense of security, which is usually the missing link in behavioral issues.
Your Role in the Process
I always say that I train the human as much as the dog. If you are inconsistent, your dog will be confused. My role is to bridge that communication gap. Whether it is addressing separation anxiety, leash pulling, or aggression, I provide the roadmap. You just have to be more determined than your dog. If you are ready to put in the work, I am here to guide you through the process.
The Canine Coach
I am Dikshit, the person behind The Canine Coach. My training is simple: I teach you to understand your dog’s language so you can stop guessing and start connecting. I work out of my farm in Noida, helping everything from anxious shelter rescues to hyperactive puppies find their balance.
