Live Sketchnotes for Corporate Events
Transform your conference discussions into engaging visual stories. Real-time graphic recording that makes complex business ideas memorable.
At this Accenture event, I created a detailed sketchnote summarizing the "Action Replay for FY22". Live doodling for corporate events is my specialty, and I always learn something new.
I had the pleasure of celebrating the incredible women at a Tata AIA Life event. My live doodle captured the themes of empowerment, growth, and the unstoppable force of womanhood.
Here's a look at the live artwork I created for a Unilever event. My process involves absorbing the energy of the room and translating key business concepts into a visual story.
For Netenrich, I created this live doodle focused on IT security and risk analysis. It's always rewarding to use art to simplify and communicate such crucial topics.
This video shows my process of creating multiple sketchnotes for a Google event on financial services innovation. Each board visualizes a different aspect of how data is revolutionizing the industry.
A collection of the final sketchnote artworks from the Google event. These pieces cover topics from data-driven innovation to financial services, all captured live.
Another great collaboration with Accenture, where I used my doodles to story-tell the entire event. This piece focuses on enterprise reinvention and future priorities.
About this collection
Whether I am working on large-scale A0 foam boards with archival markers or sketching digitally on an iPad Pro connected to your venue’s big screen, the goal is the same: to turn your speaker's abstract insights into a visual language the audience actually remembers. It works because it forces people to pause and engage with the content, not just listen to it.
How Graphic Recording Works
When I step into a conference room, my job isn't to draw pretty pictures. It's to be an active listener. I take the chaos of a keynote—the data points, the market projections, the HR strategies—and structure them into a narrative. This is graphic recording, and it’s meant to bridge the gap between 'listening' and 'understanding.'
My Approach to Live Sketchnoting
- The Prep: I always start with a 30-minute briefing call to review your agenda and speakers. Understanding the 'why' behind your event is half the work.
- The Execution: I offer two main setups. The Analog Setup uses large-scale A0 foam boards or artist paper, which adds a tactile, physical feel to the room. The Digital Setup is perfect for larger auditoriums; I sketch on my iPad Pro, and the artwork is projected live onto your venue screens in real-time.
- The Deliverable: You don't just get the physical boards. You receive high-resolution JPEG or PDF files of every artwork for your post-event reports or social media. I even include a raw time-lapse video of the creation process so you can share the 'making of' your event's story.
Why it Matters
From IT security conferences at Netenrich to financial strategy sessions with Google, I've seen that attendees retain information better when they see it drawn out. It’s an interactive, shareable asset that keeps the conversation going long after the event ends. If you want to make your next corporate gathering more than just another seminar, let's talk about how we can visualize your vision.
The Bombay Doodler
For me, art isn't just about the final frame; it’s about the journey and the energy of the room. I don't just sketch what I hear; I translate the vibe of your event into visual stories that your team will actually want to keep.
