My Process at The Barber Nation
My process starts with a consultation. We need to check if your hair is healthy enough for the treatment—if it is too damaged, we might need a protein spa first. Once we clear that, I apply the waving lotion section by section. The real magic happens during the wrap. I use specific patterns depending on whether you want a taper fade with curls on top or a full head of volume.
After the processing time, we neutralize to lock in the shape. The result? Texture that lasts.
How to Maintain Your Curls
- No Wash Rule: Do not wash your hair for 48 hours after your session.
- Product Matters: Use a curl-defining cream or a light mousse to keep the bounce alive. Avoid heavy oils that weigh the hair down.
- Styling: Scrunch your hair when it is damp to reactivate the curls.
