When you choose a keepsake or hamper, we spend time talking about the 'why' behind the gift. Whether it's including a specific inside joke for your devar or timing a baby album to match a monthly milestone, I work with the photos and snippets you send to assemble the final piece. At The Crafeteria, I treat gifting as an act of translation. You give me the raw emotions—the excitement of a first pregnancy, the nostalgia of a 7-year anniversary, the warmth of a Nani's love—and I translate that into tangible memories.
The Process: From Sentiment to Structure
- The Briefing: You don't just order a box; you share a moment. We discuss the occasion and the person. I need to know what makes them smile so I can reflect that in the design.
- Handpicked Elements: For every shadow box or hamper, I select materials myself. If it’s a 3D Storytelling Frame, we pick the specific miniatures—like tiny books for a reader or gym gear for a fitness enthusiast—that define that person.
- The Finishing Touch: Every piece is enclosed in premium housing like acrylic boxes or suede trays, often finished with fairy lights, wax seals, or fresh flowers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I provide my own photos? Absolutely. In fact, for the 3D shadow boxes and baby albums, your high-resolution photos are the core of the narrative. I print and cut them to fit the layout perfectly.
What if I don’t have a specific theme? Don't worry. Most clients come to me with just a feeling. "Make it special for my sister" is a great starting point. We’ll brainstorm together to find the right aesthetic, whether it's opulent and gold-toned or soft and floral.
How far in advance should I book? Because these are handcrafted pieces, I appreciate a bit of lead time, especially for milestone events or festive gifting. If you have a date in mind, let’s chat sooner rather than later.
