About Building the Foundation
You might think nail art is all about the designs, but I always tell my students that the art is only as good as the prep. In this foundation phase, we focus on hand precision, ensuring your shaping is sharp and your gel application is flawless before you even touch a dotting tool.
Nail artistry is a technical craft, and like any craft, your success depends on how well you understand the basics. This course is not just about painting nails. It is about understanding nail anatomy, hygiene protocols, and the science of the products you use.
When you join us for our foundation training, you spend significant time on the fundamentals. You learn how to identify different nail types and create the perfect shape for each client, whether that is a classic square, a clean almond, or a modern stiletto. We emphasize dry manicure techniques and safe cuticle work, which are non-negotiable skills if you want your clients to come back.
