About Player of the Week: Celebrating Effort

Getting the award is never about having the best serve or the most wins. It is about attitude. I watch for who arrives early, who helps set up the nets, and who tries to fix their swing path even after a frustrating rally. That is the kind of effort I reward because that is what makes a tennis player in the long run.
