Timeless Monochrome Wedding Photography
Stripping away color to reveal the soul of your moment. My monochrome portraits focus on dramatic light and raw emotion to create images that remain classic forever.
A striking, minimalist black and white portrait of the bride, Mouli, against a clean wall, her modern Sabyasachi pantsuit creating a powerful silhouette.
A high contrast black and white portrait of Sandy and Darsh, the dramatic shadows creating a bold and artistic composition.
An intimate black and white portrait of Amreet and Saksham, the soft light and their close embrace creating a deeply romantic and timeless feel.
A dynamic black and white shot of Sandy, her ruffled saree catching the wind, creating a sense of movement and freedom.
A black and white collage of Sandy and Darsh, capturing them in motion and in quiet moments, telling a story of their connection.
A creative black and white diptych of Sandy, playing with strong diagonal shadows and architectural frames for an editorial effect.
A quiet black and white moment of Sandy and Darsh walking down a brightly lit corridor, a simple and beautiful storytelling image.
A black and white diptych of Bandhavi, her profile and gaze creating a sense of mystery and elegance through the use of shadow.
A detailed black and white close up of Bandhavi, focusing on the texture of her lehenga and her elegant jewelry.
About Timeless Monochrome
Monochrome is not just about removing color. It is about sharpening the focus on the connection between two people, stripping away the noise to highlight the texture of a saree or the sharp edge of a shadow. When I shoot in black and white, I look for the raw, quiet moments that reveal who you truly are, creating images that feel as classic today as they will in forty years.
When I pick up my camera for a black and white session, my goal is to distill the wedding experience down to its most honest form. Without the distraction of vibrant colors, the eye is drawn immediately to composition, expression, and the play of light on skin and fabric.
My mother, Nisha, is instrumental in this process. Her eye for luxury styling means that even in a monochromatic frame, the details matter. We coordinate textures and silhouettes to ensure that the depth in the image translates perfectly to black and white. Whether we are in a historic palace in Udaipur or a studio in Mumbai, we use this medium to bring a cinematic, magazine-style quality to your portraits.
These sessions are distinct from standard event coverage. We spend time on deliberate posing and finding the right light, often utilizing deep shadows to create a sense of mystery and drama. If you are looking for photos that feel less like a document of the day and more like a piece of art for your home, this is the approach I recommend. I am available to travel for these shoots, bringing the same editorial rigor to your location of choice.
