Editorial Bridal and Groom Portraits

I focus on creative lighting, clean aesthetics, and the raw connection between you. My goal is to capture portraits that feel both regal and entirely yours, like a page torn from a magazine.

A powerful, artistic close-up of the bride Rakhi, her face veiled in red, capturing a moment of serene contemplation.

A quiet, regal portrait of the bride Sanskriti, seated in her glittering Manish Malhotra lehenga at the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur.

A full-length bridal portrait of Sanskriti within the dark, wood-paneled interiors of the Rambagh Palace, creating a dramatic and opulent mood.

A striking black and white portrait of the groom, Navi, standing tall amidst the cypress trees in California, an image of quiet confidence and style.

A minimalist and powerful black and white portrait of the bride, Mouli, in her chic floral pantsuit by Sabyasachi.

A high-fashion bridal portrait of Roha in Dubai, using clean white walls and a strong shadow to create a modern, architectural feel.

A collage of solo portraits of the groom, Ravi, looking dapper in his Sabyasachi sherwani against the white archways of the Taj Falaknuma Palace.

About this collection

For these sessions, I prioritize a slow, deliberate pace. We look at light, shadows, and the architecture of your surroundings, whether we are in a quiet room at the Rambagh Palace or finding a clean, white-walled space in Dubai. My goal is for you to forget the camera exists, allowing us to find that balance between structured, high-fashion posing and the natural, unscripted moments.

My approach to editorial portraiture moves away from standard wedding snapshots. I treat every shoot as a visual story where the location, the wardrobe, and the light play equal roles in the final result.

The Editorial Process

Every session begins with a mood board. This helps us align on the vision before the camera even comes out. Whether you want a clean, architectural look in a city setting or the dramatic, royal feel of a heritage property in Rajasthan, we plan the aesthetic together. My mother, Nisha, brings her expertise in styling to these conversations, ensuring your outfit and the setting complement each other perfectly.

Why Lighting Matters

I am drawn to bold contrasts. I use natural light when it is soft, but I am not afraid to work with dramatic shadows or deep black and white tones to add intensity to a portrait. This style gives your images a classic, timeless feel that holds up whether you are looking at them next week or twenty years from now.

What You Can Expect

These shoots typically last four to six hours. This gives us the freedom to experiment. We have time for outfit changes, hair adjustments, and simply moving around to find the best angle. It is not about rushing to get the shot. It is about letting the moment happen. If you are looking for portraits that feel authentic, stylish, and free from the usual pressure of wedding day timelines, this is the approach for you.
