Pre-Wedding & Couple Styling for Your Big Day
I help couples tell their story through coordinated outfits. We will work together to create looks that match your personalities and the concept of your shoot, from romantic gowns to casual chic.
For this pre-wedding shoot, I styled the couple in a classic, high-contrast look. Her custom red dress with an asymmetrical hem brings a pop of color and movement against his sharp, dark suit.
Another moment from the same pre-wedding shoot, capturing a candid, walking shot. The styling was kept minimal and elegant to let the couple's connection be the focus of the photograph.
This look was designed for a rustic, nature-themed pre-wedding shoot. I created a custom floral organza dress with off-shoulder puff sleeves, paired with a straw hat for a touch of countryside charm.
A candid moment of the couple, showing how their outfits work together in the woodland setting. His simple white shirt and trousers complement her floral dress, creating a cohesive and relaxed look.
About this collection
It is not just about the clothes, it is about how you stand together in the frame. I focus on couple coordination—balancing color palettes and fabric textures to ensure you and your partner look cohesive, not just matched. Whether we are dealing with a rustic outdoor setting or a formal studio backdrop, my role is to ensure your outfits handle the movement and the vibe of the location while keeping you comfortable enough to be natural.
When we start planning your pre-wedding shoot, I go beyond just picking an outfit. My process begins with visual storyboarding to match the shoot’s narrative. If you are going for a rustic, nature-themed vibe, we might look at flowing organza or floral prints that catch the breeze. If it is a cocktail or formal theme, we focus on sharp, modern silhouettes.
My Approach to Pre-Wedding Styling
- Color & Fabric Balance: I ensure your outfits complement each other without clashing. I look at skin undertones and the location’s natural lighting to suggest a color palette that makes you both pop.
- On-Set Management: I am there on the day of the shoot for 4-5 hours to manage outfit changes. This includes fixing fabric wrinkles, handling long veils or trains, and making sure the clothes look perfect in every frame. I also bring an emergency kit with safety pins and fashion tape for any wardrobe fixes.
- Pose Assistance: Sometimes, an outfit looks best from a specific angle. I guide you on poses that highlight the details of your garment, like back designs or slits, so you get the most out of your look.
I won’t lie, crafting a dream outfit from scratch takes a bit of time, and there are fittings involved, but the result is a look that is totally yours. My job is making sure you walk away feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to capture memories.
